As a builder and contractor I have done business with Manny Synalovski before, and over the years have gotten to know him pretty well. He is an architect that knows his way well around issues and matters relating to Shuls and Mikvaos. He has dealt with all kinds of rabbis and boards as well as Shlichim. Having been involved in building such edifices over the years of all sizes, I can tell you he is a pleasure to work with, his word is his bond and he is the ultimate professional. He has always been cooperative and easy to deal with and he is well-known and respected in the architectural community, especially when it relates to buildings for religious use. I don't want to be overly effusive, however I will tell you that you won't regret hiring and dealing with Manny and his team.

— Menachem Mendel Korf, Century Builders & Restoration, Inc.

Our "grand old Synagogue" of 50+ years experienced extensive hurricane damage in October 2005. We had a complicated job in front of us reconstructing to today's standards. [We] felt confident your team was the best to advance our congregation's needs. Attention to religious design was incorporated into the overall reconstruction design. Structural assessment, site analysis, design and build plans, interior design, and project administration began immediately, with the aggressive goal to have the Temple revitalized by the High Holidays 2006. We accomplished our goal under the skillful guidance of you and your team.

— Marcia B. Rapp, President, and David Esack, Vice President, Administration, Temple Beth El

Temple Beth Am's Sanctuary was almost 30 years old and it was time for a complete renovation and upgrade. Your team was superb, taking a tired-looking Sanctuary and transforming it into a magnificent modern facility. They have proven themselves to be professional, insightful, and have a keen eye for design and detail. Equally important, they worked within the overall $600,000 budget, and whenever an issue arose during construction, they acted quickly to resolve it.

— Sheila B. Grossman, President, Temple Beth Am

Thank you for assisting us in converting our 5,000-square-foot commercial property into a beautiful place of worship. The project comprises a Sanctuary, foyer and receiving area, office, library, commercial kitchen, and restroom facilities. You not only provided a survey, engineering, and design, you were also our intermediary with the City of Plantation. Your team fought hard to ensure that City planning and permitting were prioritized and approved – a challenging undertaking within any city. Moreover, you helped us achieve our vision, our goal, all within budget and time. Your diligent efforts helped us build a beautiful place of worship for our community.

— Soly D'Jamal, Vice President, Tiferet Rafael Synagogue

I go a long way back with Manny Synalovski and his firm, and he has never disappointed; on the contrary, he has always come through in flying colors. Of greatest importance and where I can most attest is to his character and personality. To put it simply, with no exaggeration, Manny is a rock. The two most valuable things I can say about him is his rock solid, serene and patient demeanor, and that his word is his bond. Whether in business or friendship, he is always a no-nonsense, nice, straightforward and decent individual. He has long-standing relationships with rabbis throughout South Florida and has done a lot of work with synagogues. He is an architect, and most importantly, mentsch, par excellence.

— Yossi Korf, Hollywood Community Synagogue

Client Partners — Community and Academic Services

The Children's Services Council of Broward County, a special government agency created by the voters of Broward County to focus resources solely on children, worked with Manny Synalovski over a year as we sought to purchase a building or land on which to build. [Manny conducted] a Needs Analysis to expertly guide us through this process. He is extremely knowledgeable and forward-thinking, as well as deliberate and forthright. I was impressed with his professionalism and communication style with the Council's board members. He earned the respect and trust of our board members and staff, which was not an easy task. I highly recommend him.

— Cindy Arenberg Seltzer, President/CEO, Children's Service Council of Broward County

Kids in Distress contracted with your team for professional architectural services including Design, Planning, Permitting, Construction Document Submittal, and Construction Administration. The project involved six new buildings comprising more than 40,000 square feet; 12,000 square feet of remodeled space; and comprehensive site plan development on a five-acre site. The project involved office space, residential facilities, preschool, warehouse, and recreation/conference center. In addition to the complex milieu of City, County, and State code for those facilities, the project was an additional challenge since we already occupied the majority of the site. The project had to be implemented in phases so that we could demolish structures and then start that process again and again. Throughout the entire three-year process, the architectural staff was extremely professional and efficient. The scope was vast and our requirements were extensive…but individual buildings went from slab to CO in about six months. I highly recommend this firm.

— Mark Vanderbosch, Vice President/CFO, Kids in Distress

— Richard Goldman, President, The Sagemont School

Thank you for donating your knowledge and expertise in the design and construction of our new Science Lab. Without your help, we would still be awaiting approved permits and/or be knee deep in red tape waiting for inspections. Our Kindergarten through 5th grade students are truly enjoying learning Science and Computers in their new "state of the art" labs.

— Marilyn Sherman, Principal, Davie Campus David Posnack Hebrew Day School

…Thank you…for the project completed at Colbert Elementary School last year and the ongoing Phase II Replacement. It has been a difficult project on a very tight site with a school that has been operating while construction has been ongoing. Listening to the concerns of the school staff, district personnel, and other stakeholders in a very professional and creative manner, you have been able to provide a very successful design that meets both our needs and budget. With all the unforeseen conditions usually found on existing built sites and facilities, you have shown great imagination solving problems in a timely fashion without having to alter your design concept…You [were] able to complete the task on time and under budget while providing excellent quality product.

— Patrick Lynn, Deputy Chief of Police, Pembroke Pines Police Department

The City of Lighthouse Point [contracted with] Ms. Romanik's firm, to design a new state-of-the-art police facility…. Originally, Ms. Romanik was directed to develop plans for a new facility; however the project took a new direction when the City obtained the property of the North Broward Preparatory School. The scope of work changed from designing a new facility to remodeling and renovating the old school building. Throughout our preliminary design process, and subsequent construction project, Merrill Romanik was extremely helpful and readily available…. I found her previous experience in designing other public safety facilities, including the Cooper City and Miramar Police Department facilities, to be extremely valuable, as she was familiar with the many contemporary engineering and design concepts required of a public safety building. Ms. Romanik [ensured] that the project stayed on track, that engineering and design standards were being adhered to, and that all final punch list items were resolved. The Police Department is now operating out of a new, state-of-the-art police facility that is the envy of many who serve in the law enforcement community.

— Ross Licata, Chief of Police, City of Lighthouse Point Police Department

[After designing a new police facility, your firm] designed the expansion of our Library, the renovation of City Hall, renovation of the fire station, and renovation of the recreation hall. 3) ability to stay within budget
4) willingness and flexibility to satisfy the customer
