Festival of Trees

This holiday season, SRS joins South Florida's elite architecture and design community as a participant in FIU's annual Festival of the Trees, with events in November through January. This prestigious fundraiser for the university's Interior Architecture Department celebrates the artistic work of top designers in the creation of imaginative interpretations of holiday trees, which are first displayed and then auctioned off at a gala attended by more than 800 guests, and held at the Moore Building in Miami's Design District. Our entry is sponsored by The Global Furniture Group, our colleague and an esteemed purveyor of exceptional and affordable work stations, meeting and learning equipment, lounge and reception furnishings, cafe and dining chairs, tables, and cabinets, and personal office outfitting. This holiday extravaganza has raised more than $300,000 in funds over the last four years and these directly benefit interior architecture students. After the gala, the trees are displayed for the public at Dadeland Mall, through the holiday season.
