Synalovski Romanik Saye, Architects, Names New Staff

Fort Lauderdale, FL – Manny Synalovski, founding partner of Synalovski Romanik Saye, Architects (SRS), announced two recent additions to the firm's multinational professional staff.

They include Carlos Diaz and Architect Eduardo R. Diaz-Delucca, both of whom are from Puerto Rico.

Carlos Diaz began his career as an architectural draftsman in 1992, working in the family practice of Horacio Diaz, F.A.I.A., and Eduardo Diaz, A.I.A. for 22 years. Carlos studied architectural drafting at Liceo de Arte y Technologia de Puerto Rico, San Juan, Puerto Rico, and completed the bachelor's program in electric engineering at Universidad Polictenica de Puerto Rico, San Juan.  Carlos and his family relocated to South Florida in 2015. Carlos excels in precise technical and design drawing that is the basis of all civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical engineering construction documents.

Architect Eduardo R. Diaz-Delucca earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees at Tulane University in New Orleans, following family tradition: Both his father and older brother are architects and all graduated from Tulane.

His career has focused on improving social conditions through architectural means by creating coalitions with community residents, contractors, and government, both in Puerto Rico and the United States. His project experience as an architect and urban planner has ranged from New Orleans and Baton Rouge to Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Tempe, AZ, and South Florida, and includes public housing modernizations; facilities at Inter-American University of Puerto Rico; utility company facilities in Puerto Rico; a resort in the Dominican Republic; industrial canal lock expansion in New Orleans; two National Guard armories; mass transit stations; Veterans Administration medical center renovations; historic building rehabilitation for the Conservatory of Music of Puerto Rico; and elder care facilities.

SRS is an award-winning firm with residential, commercial, retail, academic, worship, recreation, and government-related projects. Most recently under construction or completed projects include Dycom Industries headquarters buildings in Palm Beach Gardens; Fort Lauderdale High School renovations and additions; David Posnack High School and Paul & Maggie Fisher Gymnasium, Davie; Broward College interior improvements and reprogramming, Broward County; Phases 8, 9, and 10 of Ultimate Software Group buildings, Weston; Beacon Tower, Hallandale; award-winning City of Lauderhill Municipal Complex; Miramar Pineland Park; Plantation Community Center; and historic South Side School.

Recent contracts include Holocaust Documentation and Education Center, Hallandale; City of Palm Beach Gardens municipal improvements; City of Weston municipal improvements; Chabad of Kendall; Church of God, Weston; Starwoods' Aloft Hotel, Davie, and Holiday Inn Xpress, Fort Lauderdale.
