A complex challenge, the Barry University Wiegand Center space was reconfigured to encompass a new cold storage room, student space for lab work, plus a dedicated research lab and teaching stations, and individual offices, for three physical science professors. Special equipment installations included refrigeration, dionized water, gas, and air connectors; emergency equipment and technology upgrades; fume hoods, snorkels, and balances, and new lab benches, storage cabinetry, flooring, and lighting for student areas.
