The new fleet maintenance and repair hub offers generous parking space for fire emergency and other trucks, police cars, white vans and cars, and a full package of tools and equipment, supplies and storage, and modern, state-of-the-art technology and servicing apparatus.
The 88,000 SF structure is accompanied by 350 parking spaces for visitors and employees, and the incoming and outgoing vehicles currently being serviced, waiting for service, or having completed service and waiting to depart. Designed to serve as a disaster operation center in times of severe weather conditions and crisis as well as a day-to-day repair facility, the building includes a lobby, personnel area with lockers, training and break rooms, and administrative offices.
The repair bays and garage are air-conditioned for personnel health, safety, and efficiency. The facility provides services for White Fleet heavy equipment and White Fleet light duty, as well as heavy construction equipment and EMS Fleet heavy equipment. Additional features include lubrication distribution system for all vehicles, an overhead hoist, washdown apparatus, generator backup, electric vehicle charging stations, and storage of supplies and parts.
